Linking up with From Mrs. to Mama for her Women Connect series... I wanted to write many thoughts I have been having lately, but am having trouble putting them all into words. I thought I would share some quotes to help, too.
Gratitude has been a big theme in my life lately. I know I write often about all the things I am thankful for... and I probably come across as having a "too good" life. I choose to write about the things that make me happy, thankful, etc. It doesn't mean I don't have a dark sky occasionally, it just means that I choose to focus this little diary of mine on the things in my life that I love.
Gratitude is something I try to focus on every. single. day. If I am feeling down or blue - which I do - I have learned that communicating that with TL is what makes me feel better. He is so good at helping lift my spirits when they are low and knowing what to say to put a smile on my face. My close girlfriends do the same... along with many people in my life. They've made me realize the importance of words - no matter how small, and how they can make someone's day. If you're feeling something positive for someone - let them know, always!
I try to remind myself every morning when I wake up that it's my choice how I want to live my life today. Life really is what we make of what we're dealt. I realize I am very blessed, so that's easy for me to say, but I also choose to focus closely on these blessings.
Sorry this is a bit of a jumble... but I think this is what writing from the heart is all about. Expressing ourselves, even when it doesn't make complete sense.

I love all the little things you touched up in this post. We do need to remember that every day is a new day and it's in our hands how we want to live our life that day.
And I too focus on the happy and beautiful moments in life. Doesn't mean we don't have bad days, hard days, or moments of weakness.
Just means we choose happiness.
Xoxo
When I think of you, I definitely always think of positive and thankful! Thanks for lifting our spirits today and always :)
I love this post Tracy... and it came at the perfect time! I think I needed this reminder... that we have a choice to live each day in a certain way and give thanks for all that we are blessed with :) Thank you for posting this!

I feel like I do the same thing, write about the good stuff, so it looks like my life is great. I have bad times too, I just would rather focus on the good ones!
This is a fabulous post. I'm happy that I found you on Becky's Link UP. You're so inspirational.

Your newest follower, Alissa
I love this post.
I so agree with surrounding yourself with good & positive people, those who will lift you higher.
And I love the quote about choosing to be peaceful inside...so true.
You always come across as such a positive person, it is reflected in every post you write - and you always seem so grateful for your life....I've always really admired that about you. You would be the most wonderful mentor for someone. And a fantastic Mommy too :)
Hope you are well XX
Found you through Women Connect..and I love this post. Everyday is what you make it, that's what I believe.
I can't wait to follow along more and I see that baby is almost here...congrats!!
anddd I may have perused ALL your Hawaii pictures because I'm planning on going there for my honeymoon hehe :)
What a great post - I think many bloggers and readers get caught up with envious feelings over others - most people don't post the negative because it's simply something they don't need to be made public. Not the intimate details anyway, those are definitely for close girlfriends and significant others :)
It sounds like you and TL compliment each other very well - you both have such a positive outlook on life!
