Best. Game. Ever.

TL and his brother have been season ticket holders at Candlestick Park in San Francisco for almost a decade.
When I met TL, I was a Niner fan simply because they are the team closest to where I live and I grew up with Niner fans in my family.  But... dating him and eventually marrying him meant I would attend several games and spend several Sunday afternoons cheering them on.

Yesterday was one of the best games I have ever seen... and we were so lucky to be there and witness it in person!  It was so fun!  Total chaos.  Hugging people I have never met.  And the camaraderie between the fans and everyone in the stadium was incredible.  The energy was unlike anything I have experienced!!

We started the day out early, getting to the stadium early to get a good parking spot, and then meeting up with some family friends to tailgate and play a few games.
 Right when the game ended... we were going crazy! {TL, me, my dad, and BIL Joe}
We were standing the whole time!

Now, we wait to see who we're going to play next Sunday.
I am still in disbelief of this game... the last 2 minutes of the 4th quarter was some of the most exciting football I have ever seen!

Go Niners!!

My fiancee and his cousin were there too, and said that this was, by far, the best game they'd ever been too. The last two minutes were absolutely nuts!

LOL Tracy! When I saw the title, I was hesitant to even read the post. That looks like so much fun!I wish I knew a saints season ticket holder to take me to games. I've never been to one before. I just moved here and don't even have any of the gear to wear to the games!! Haha! It's been a sad week in Louisiana! LSU now this..

I can't imagine being at that game! That was an amazing game! I am a Ravens fan however, but I am still hoping for the 49ers to go the superbowl so that it is the two brothers!

So, even though I live in the Bay Area . . . I'm a die hard Saints fan (went to college at Tulane), which means last Saturday was a little bit heartbreaking for me. ;) But I still have to admit that it was an AMAZING game--the last 3 minutes were CRAZY!!! The Niners played so hard and it's true what they say about their defense . . . and I think the Packers' loss was a really good sign for the Niners!

That game KILLED me as a Saints fan. Ugh. But having been to the NFC Championship game against the Vikings, I totally know the vibe you're describing and I think all fans deserve that at least once!
