Christmas Decorations

We've been working on bulking up our collection of Christmas decorations over the years... and I love having the lights up and on.  It's very festive.  {pics from last year}

My favorite is our tree because of all the special ornaments.  Everywhere we travel, I try to get one, and every year when I put them on the tree, my mind is flooded with memories.

I also love the dining room table.  Most of these decorations are from last year.  I am so excited we actually get to use our dining room table on Christmas night this year!

What are your decorating secrets?

Your home/holiday decorations look wonderful!

I think my secret, which I recently found is to not do everything at once. Much less stress and I can enjoy the decorating by, like you recalling the memories with each decoration/ornament.

Love your decorations! They look great! I definitely need to take some pictures of my decorations, once they are complete and post them!

Your decorations look like they are straight out of Martha Stewart's home! I love all of it, especially the festive jars!

My secret is to stock up on next years decor the day after christmas! :)

we have a random ornament tree as well! I just love unwrapping the tissue paper each year and being flooded with memories of where each ornament has come from!

So gorgeous! My poor house has like 3 decorations...I really need to do some damage during the post-christmas decoration sales this year.

I love your tree topper ~ it is so cute!! Your place looks great ~ I like decorating with things that mean something to me ~ stuff I have collected over time. I also love bringing the outdoors in with greenery and pinecones.

We do the exact same thing with the Christmas ornaments, they make the best souvenirs and it's so much fun to pull them out every year! I actually just did a post about our tree talking about this same thing today, small world :)

ps: I love that license plate map you have, so cute!

I love collecting ornaments as well! We always get them when we go away, but it is also tradition for my Mom to give my brother and I ornaments every year! It is so fun to look at them over the years to see how we have changed!

ps- those stockings are adorable!!!
