Pizza on the Patio

I'm not a chef, but my friend (IRL), Nicole, over at La Mia Vita, always makes delicious looking pizzas, so I figured I would give it a try! :)
Our friends, C&K, came over for dinner.  C helped us make a fire pit on our backyard yesterday... more on that later!
{maximus thought he wanted pizza, too}

Ingredients:
pizza dough
(we did one in the bag from Trader Joes, the rest were pre baked)
bbq sauce
feta cheese
diced red onion
chicken

Heat in oven until cheese melts
delicious!

I am so excited for fall nights.  It was a beautiful night last night - perfect weather!

Sounds like you had a nice time! We love bbq chicken pizza too!

I make the same pizza but use the larger wheat pre-made pizza dough from Boboli, use sweet baby rays brown sugar bbq sauce, some cilantro, and colby jack cheese with the red onion, chicken. YUM!

these look delish!! and BTW--if ever you don't have dough, i sometimes use biscuit dough, flatten them into mini pizzas, and then load with toppings--bake at 250 for 8 to 10 minutes and they are fantastic!

The pizzas look yummy; how did the bbq sauce work in place of tomato sauce?
