Our Adventure in Dublin, Ireland

Dublin, Ireland was our last stop on our month long European trek.  It was a very fun place to end, and we spent 3 days in this fun city.
Of course, two of our obvious stops were at the Guinness Factory and The Old Jameson Distillery.  We loved them both {although TL and I both agreed the Heineken tour in Amsterdam was better than Guinness}.
We stayed at The Westin Dublin, in the Temple Bar area and it was very close to everything.
As if we hadn't already tried out enough pubs in Edinburgh, we made our way around Dublin hopping around at all the pubs.  Our friends, C&K, stayed with us and we had a great time!

Along with the shops & tours - we saw many of the famous sites of Dublin.  Notre Dame and Trinity College were very pretty!  The flowers were in bloom all over the city, and we were lucky with the weather - no rain!  We walked all over this city.  We also ate at a Thai restaurant one night - it was pretty good.

I fell in love with Guinness.  I had never tried it before this trip, and I quickly gained an appreciation for it!

TL and his friend, C, both love Whiskey!  The Distillery was something he was looking forward to the entire trip.  He was selected to do the whiskey tasting, and it was very interesting to learn how whiskey is made.
The view from our hotel room.
Our first meal... I was starving and the food was SO good!
The view from Gravity Bar at the top of the Guinness Factory.

TL and I were very sad to leave.  As we packed our bags for the final trip home, I will never forget how we both felt.  It was one of the best experiences we've had together, and the memories we made on this trip will stay with us forever.  I am so lucky I married a guy that I travel and get along so well with.  It was such a wonderful adventure!

We will be returning to Europe again soon.

Looks so pretty! I love how all of the building in the British Isles are stone and so heavy and gothic feeling. I've not been to Ireland, but when I went to Scotland from my summer in Oxford it felt that way too.
