An American Girl {& Guy} In Paris

We took the train from Brussels to Paris and I was so excited to arrive in this city!  I watched Sex & The City, An American Girl in Paris (Part 1 & 2) on the train ride there. :)  Our friends, Casey & Kristin, made the trek over and met us in the city.  It was a last minute decision on their part and although they crashed on the floor in our room, I think they were happy they came!
Paris was beautiful.  The architecture was romantic and the streets are just gorgeous.  It was different than what I expected, but I liked it.  We mastered the underground trains and explored everywhere.  We also spent my Birthday in the city and took a day trip to the Chateau.  (Another post coming on that)  ;)
Our first night there, we took the underground to the Eiffel Tower.  We rode all the way to the top, and the views of the city were gorgeous!
One of my favorite Paris attractions...  Louis Vuitton!
Exploring!
I love this guy! The picture on the right was at the top of the Eiffel Tower :)
The weather while we were there was unseasonably warm.  We lucked out!

Paris was gorgeous, definitely a city everyone should visit if they get the chance.  It was crowded while we were there, but overall, it was a very fun stop on our adventure!

And also love that you watched the SATC eps!!! Those are my FAVORITE! I love it when she's standing there in front of him in the hotel room and gives that little quote about "ridiculous, inconvenient love"... FABULOUS!

I LOVE Paris so so so much. I went there once in the summer of 2005 and once in the summer of 2009. I speak French and the second time I visited I had such a blast, I actually remembered where things were and how to get from point A to point B...plus I could communicate, which I couldn't do the first time around.
I hope I get to again some day! It is such a beautiful place.

I went over Christmas last year and we froze our tails off!! Not too sure I'd recommend going in Dec. It actually tainted our visit and we ended up not liking it very much (that and many other reasons about Paris) but I LOVE your pictures. Especially the ones of the wheel (so creative) and him jumping off the thingy (cause my brain isn't working on what it's called)

Any way, so glad you had a great time there. I think when we go to Europe again, we'll take everyones advice and go when it's warm!
