My sister's Bridal Shower

My sister Juls is beautiful... gorgeous on the outside, but it's her heart that makes people flock to her.  She's the sweetest human being I know.  She's got a gentle soul and is always putting everyone else before her.  She has always been a 'behind the scenes girl' when it comes to anything involving her and would rather someone else get the credit.  So... you better believe that when my sister Kelly and I planned this shower... we wanted it to be ALL ABOUT HER!  And she looked stunning :)

I was so happy to host the shower at my house - and started researching blogs and websites right after she was engaged to get some inspiration to spark my creativity.  I am surely not a creative person... but I had so much fun.  I love mason jars, and for some reason, they remind me of her.  (Remember the teacher on Matilda... Miss Honey?  She reminds me of my sister.)

My sister Kelly and I started throwing our ideas together a few months ago... and here's what we came up with!
The centerpieces & tables...
The napkins & placemats...
She is the middle sister :)
Gorgeous!
 My sister loves bows...
 Watching Jul open presents...
Eating lunch...
The bridesmaids!
My sisters - Jul in the middle, Kel on the right
My sisters, mom, and me!

And... my favorite detail (or a close second to the flowers) of them all...
The Candy Station!
This was so fun to prepare... I started collecting the jars months ago.  TL helped me pick out the candy, and I made all of the little signs with card stock paper and my computer!
Bow Keychain Favors...
It was a wonderful celebration for Juls... she was glowing all day long! :)
We Love You Juls!
& we can't wait until the big day :)

Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend!

Hi! New reader here! :)

I love the look of the bridal shower. My favorite part would have to be the candy station. I'm obsessed with mason jars, so those were a perfect fit to go with the candy! :)

I'm recently engaged, planning my wedding, and sooo glad I came across your blog!
