Hello lovelies! I'm Michelle from a little bit of this & that and I am very excited to be guest blogging for Tracy while she is away. Tracy's blog is one of my favorite reads and I am honored to have the opportunity to talk to all of you ... her lovely readers :)
When Tracy first mentioned that she was going away, I started thinking about vacations that I have been on and thought that I would share one of my favorite vacation spots with all of you.
My favorite vacation spot is ...
{WARNING: Be prepared for picture overload.}
Las Vegas is one of the most exhilarating places that I've ever been to! I LOVE the strip and all of the hotels! Everything is gorgeous and over the top. There is such a great energy in Las Vegas and there is so much fun to be had!
I have been to Las Vegas a few times and went most recently last December with two of my girlfriends. I'm very excited to share my trip with you today :)
We stayed at the Mirage, which is right in the heart of the strip ... perfect location! The hotel was affordably-priced, gorgeous, and offers so many great restaurants and attractions. In my book, it's definitely a four-star hotel!
{If you love the Beatles, this show is definitely a must-see! It was AMAZING! One of the best shows I've ever seen!}
During our 5-day vacation, we walked the strip and visited each of the hotels. (We chose to walk but there is also a tram that you can take to get you from hotel to hotel.) Each hotel has lots of attractions and amenities... shops, shows, spas, theme parks, restaurants, nightclubs, and of course, casinos.
{LOVE ALL OF THE DESIGN ELEMENTS in these hotels.}
At night, we visited a few nightclubs. We went to The Bank at the Bellagio, JET at the Mirage, and Tryst at the Wynn. Many of the nightclubs have cover charges, which you can easily avoid paying. **Here's a little tip: There are many people on the strip who stand and hand out fliers. The fliers will help you to get in places VIP without paying full price. Most of the places we went to we were able to get in for free or paid a discounted cover just by tipping the girls and guys who were handing out the fliers. Our hotel also gave us comps, which I'm sure many other hotels do as well.
For those of you who don't know me, I'm the blonde :)
Hope you enjoyed this photo trip to Vegas!
I'm sure I could go on much longer... but I'm happy that I was able to highlight my favorites :)
If you're thinking of planning a trip to Vegas, my tip for you would be to plan ahead and think about everything that you would like to do. There are so many things to see and do that you won't want to miss anything!
And if you've been to Vegas, where did you stay and what was your favorite thing to do?
Thanks Tracy for letting me guest blog! I had a great time writing this post!
Hope everyone has a great day!

fancy meeting you here Michelle ;) Great tips and I love all the pictures/collages
I love this post :)!
Las Vegas is my fiance's favorite place. He has been countless of times but I got to go for the first time last year. We stayed at the Mirage but he was very disappointed! I didn't really know any different but with him staying a lot of different places, this was is least favorite. It was still nice though and we had a great stay there:)
We are going back in September and staying at The Venetian..this is his favorite. I am so excited to stay here!! I am hoping this year we will go to a show(ha maybe see Celine Dion).
Cute pictures of you, by the way!
How fun! We are headed to Vegas in July for my brothers wedding. They are getting married at the Paris hotel and I am super excited! Thanks for the great info.
I totally love the Mirage. I have stayed at over 75% of the hotels on the strip (haha can't you guess how many times I've been to Vegas?!), and regarding price, location, and pool, Mirage is definitely it! I also highly recommend Planet Hollywood.
Great post Michelle :-)
This one is very excellent information of hotel and restaurant.I like this great post.Thanks,For sharing nice hotel information.
that looks like a fun time Vegas is great I have never stayed at the Mirage but I so want to now.
Write it in Lipstick
Loved seeing your post about Vegas. I moved there right after college with my bff and just recently moved to DC. Vegas is such a great place to visit. Anymore than 5 days I think is too much (unless you have lots of money to spend!). It's always fun hearing people's stories when they come to visit because the strip was my backyard for 5 years. Glad you had a blast. Love your pictures!
I love the photos of Las Vegas. The design of the casinos are incredible. I am very impressed by the Luxor, the pyramid is great.
You got a really useful blog I have been here reading for about an hour. I am a newbie and your
success is very much an inspiration for me.
