The Art of Racing In The Rain

If you love dogs, this book is a must read.  I read it for my book club & all of us who have dogs absolutely loved it.
It is a story written from a man's best friend's (Enzo) perspective. It was a quick read - but had a lot of meaning.
At first, the book can be a little difficult to get into because it compares a lot life meanings to racing cars... but if you read through it, it all starts to make sense.  It's a story of a man's journey through adulthood - meeting a woman, having a baby... and then all of it unraveling.  Enzo stays by him through it all.  While I was reading the book, I kept Maximus & Zeus close so I could cuddle them and give them love. ;)
It is touching, meaningful, and I loved it!

I hope you had a good weekend!  A couple of my girlfriends came into town & we had a blast - I am waiting to get some of the pics and then I'll post them :)

11 Days until Christmas!

As long as it doesn't end like Marley and Me....I don't think I can handle another tear jerker like that!

I'm pretty sure this is what the big guy was just reading. I say 'pretty sure' because he is reading up to 10 books at a time and I tend to lose track.

I'll have to check when I get home. And if I'm wrong, well, then I'll go buy it! haha

I can't believe 11 days until Christmas! Hurray!

Hi honey!
April in Paris and London would be lovely, the weather is usually nice then - not hot but springlike and pretty - does that help?
Simone :)

PS I ordered the Rain book :)
