Calling all creative people...

I need some help with ideas for an adorable party for my precious nephew's first birthday.  I have a few ideas brewing... but I thought I would ask some of the most creative, fun, and exciting people out there... the blogger world!
He is a total cutie pie.  Since he was born, we've always loved trains for this little guy... but we are open to anything.
Have you been to any cute kids parties lately?  Fill me in! :)

I think a train party, monkey party, cowboy party would all be cute. Martha Stewarts site has really cute ideas!

I agree with some of the other comments- a jungle theme would be neat! And check out these adorable monkey cupcakes: http://www.yanowhatimean.com/archives/003115.php

There are so many ideas on line and with a train theme you could go literally choo choo!! A cupcake train cake would be neat and there is a lot of Thomas stuff out there. Have fun with it!

We did a pirate theme for the dude's first bday. The cake was a pirate ship and it was awesome!

your nephew and I share the same birthday! this certainly calls for a celebration! in my experience, simple themes often turn out the loveliest. why not pick a nice color palette and just go with that?

Ohhh how fun that you get to plan a party for him! What is his favorite toy? Maybe plan the theme around his favorite toy and make the invites and decorations similar. Can't wait to see what you come up with!

hehehe, a goldfish cracker themed party! A goldfish cake, goldfish crackers as decoration and snack, bright aqua blue table decorations, yellow and orange balloons! So cute!
