Do you ever have those days where you constantly worry? And by worry, I mean worry about everything that is completely out of your control and even the things that happened in the past. For some reason I am having one of those days... it's a day where I looked at my dogs and felt a little envious because they have no worry. Silly, right?
My dad would tell me this is me being a "worry wart"
What do you do to calm your worries?
Are you worried about anything?
Right now, I am hoping a little rest will help me out!

Hope things get better for you! I am a huge worry wart! I worry about anything and everything under the sun! I do sometimes wish I had my dog's life, but not every dog is free of worries, so we're all in the same boat! :-)
girl your pup is freaking cute in that pic.
and yes. i am having a tough day in the same aspect of worrying about things i can't really control ughh.. good luck on that. hope things get better for you.
What a cute pic of one of your pups!! I often wish I was a cat- my cats nap all day, play a bit when I get home, eat treats, and sleep all night. What a life!
I have gotten much better about worrying as I've gotten older. I used to worry about EVERY thing- and then I just realized that worrying didn't make anything better, it just stressed me out. So when I feel myself worrying, I just take a deep breath, write down thoughts in a journal, say a little prayer, grab a cup of coffee to cheer up and remember that everything will work out the way it is supposed to... that usually makes me feel better. A bubble bath and glass of wine never hurts either ;)
I wish every day when I'm leaving my house for work that I was my dog and could sleep in bed all day. I have no advice on being a worry wart cause I totally am!
I am the WORST worry wort!!!
Currently, I am worring obssesivly about being sick on vacation... Sleepless nights over this one!!
I wish I knew the combo to the switch that would turn off this switch off!!!
Trying to just breathe and take like as it comes...
actually, yes i would love my spoiled little pups life!!!
i am not a huge worrier....for some reason the #1 thing that worries me is always money. ugh!
Oh I am a total worry wart too! And yes, its always about things out of my control. Hope you feel better soon!
Hope things get better girly.. I worry lots too.. esp before bed sometimes..which definitely doesnt help for the sleep I likely need to ease my worries. Sheesh.
To calm down, I sometimes take a shower (I know that's lame, but it works) or clean.. I like to clean b/c it's something I CAN control instead of worrying about things I can't, ya know... Or I walk my dog while jamming to my ipod... :)
Tomorrow will be better. Sending hugs. :)
My honey and I think that all the time. How great Fergie has it without any stress, bills to pay, kids to take care of.
Ha! Ha! I do the same!
Every day when we get hone from work I always ask my dog: "Hi!! How was your day? What did you do today?!" It's gets her all excited...I know it's the tone of my voice...but my hubby always says: "They have it so rough..just wondering where to sleep next"
Get some rest sweetie! The last couple months have bben a lil exciting for you...now relax :)
I'm sorry to hear you're having a hard day. I know how stressful life can be. I look at my little dog and realize it's much easier to sit around the house all day and eat. However, my life is much more exciting!
Although I am not a chronic worrier like my mother ~ I do tend to worry about some things. With that being said ~ it has taken me a long time to realize that I cannot stress myself out over something I have absolutely no control over. I try to make it my mantra.
Oh yes, dogs have sweet lives, that circle around sleeping, eating, and love from their owners. What a dream!
awe what a cutie :)
I worry about EVERYTHING...
omg, is that your dog. too friggin cute!
I am the same way, I worry a lot! For me, rest/sleep helps, and talking to a friend who can help put things into perspective.
Hope you feel better!
xo
I've been worrying for 22 years since my first born arrived. I look back though and in just about every situation and wonder why I spent so much energy doing so because everything has turned out so wonderful. As I 'mature' I am trying not to so much. I try to remember everything in my life is as it should be at this particular moment even if don't necessary agree with it. Believe it or not I think it helps to alleviate the worry. You have a wonderful new marriage, a hunky husband and fabulous honeymoon memories. I say your cute little pooch is envious of you! Take care. This shall pass too. :) xoxo
um...the dachshund is absolutely adorable!!! want to snuggle!!! and i know what you mean lady...anxiety has it's nasty little hands around my head way toooo often and it irks me because i LIVE to be optimistic and happy!!! hope your wednesday is a worry free one lady!!!
Oh girl, I worry about EVERYTHING. It is something I have tried to break, and I am getting better the older I get. On those days though when my worries just become too much, I stop and pray because I know that it is the devil wearing me down. Then I try to put things in perspective, and determine what I can change and leave what I can't with God. It is hard, and "yes" somedays I have wished I was a dog for the same reason!
Being a dog would be grand! I know mine are spoiled rotten!!
Have a surprise for you at my blog!!
Oh my gosh! I think that all the time!!! My little pups are adorable, have comfy beds and their only worry is when we are going to feed them! haha, I wish I could switch places with them for at least one day. :)
Hmm...ice cream, watching funny shows, listing to great music usually do the trick for me! :)
Hope you feel more relaxed! :)
Worry/Anxiety has been be my side since i can remember, i used to be on anxiety medication but now i try other things, such as running or gonig to my barn and riding my horse, USUALLY helps! but sometimes my worrys just take over and i have an anxiety attack! it is AWFUL!
I can totally relate!
I worry all the time (especially about things I can't control)
What helps me is list making, revising my calendars, and working out. I feel like that puts controllable things directly in front of me.
Also - crying to my honey sometimes is all I need :)
Everyone worries, silly! It's human nature to have concerns about life. It's just a matter of not letting it control your every day happiness. What I do when I am worried is make a plan. Writing things out calms me down. If it is something that is not in my control then I simply talk to Michael or a friend about it, and then after I vent I tend to relax. Getting my mind off of it also helps.
I e-mailed you on this one but I had to post too - glad you are doing better but as I said before it is always great to relax, take a warm bubble bath, cuddle with your doggies, and just know everything is going to be ok! :)
It's funny that you say that because my husband and I always joke that our dog has the best life and we'd love to trade places with her!!!
your dog is sooo cute! i bet he gets away with muder when he looks at you like he does on that pic!
