Rehearsal Dinner Outfit

What is your favorite rehearsal dinner dress for the bride??
Dress 1
Dress 2
Dress 3
Is it appropriate for the bride to wear white?
I am so excited... our rehearsal dinner is taking place at a quaint restaurant near our wedding venue called La Perla Bistro.
My future MIL is doing an amazing job with the planning!
It's beautiful!

Hi Tracy. I think you would look gorgeous in #2. So I thought I had you on follow... but maybe not... corrected that now... I just had a look back at missed posts and your 'Shoe Shower' post is SO lovely. What a wonderful idea, and what wonderful sisters you have. You certainly have a special family!!! Have fun. x Julie

I think I am leaning towards the first dress, but I like the frills in the second dress. I don't think it is inappropriate to wear a white dress, but I haven't read up on bridal do's and don'ts either. But...it is your wedding so you can do whatever you want! :) Beautiful rehearsal dinner venue! You are going to have such an amazing time. :)

hands down, the first dress. it's adorable!!! and so hip, not too much yet suitable. i actually think the bride looks best in white during the rehearsal dinner but that's just me. but whatever dress you pick, you'll look fabulous i'm sure.

I think you would look so cute in the first two! The first one is similar to your sf shower dress and I really like the 2nd one. Super romantic and has a "great gatsby" feel to it", which would be perfect for the quaint and nice feel of the rehearsal dinner venue! So excited, trac! Xoxo

You will look amazing in ANYTHING you wear, but my vote is number 2- I agree with Kelly- dress 1 looks really similar to your shower #1 dress!

To be honest, I kept saying 'ooohhh' at each and every dress you posted!! I especially love #2 and #3, #2 for the romantic in me and #3 for the sultry side in me :-) Can't wait to see what you decide--all of them are gorgeous!

I love dress #1. It seems more like you than the other ones. (I say this like I know you so well haha)

Lindsay said...

I like dress #1 or #2... but I favor #2. It's just so soft and feminine! And I think it's perfectly approriate to wear white to the rehearsal dinner, but I'm gonna worry about spilling something on my dress! lol I'm a disaster in white. lol

i LOVE LOVE LOVE the second one!! it is gorgeous! and that restaurant looks amazing!!

I like #2. Romantic and frilly! We didn't have a rehearsal dinner so i'm not sure what is appropriate.. but whatever it's your wedding. Wear what you want doll ;)

Kristen said...

Totally appropriate to wear white- you're the bride! You pretty much get to make the rules! And my vote is for #2... but of course, whatever you wear, you will look amazing and TL will think you're the most beautiful girl in the room, no doubt!

I vote the first one! So pretty!!

I love the 3rd one, but that might be a little bit too much boob-age for a family event. I'd go with #2. SOOOOOOO GORGEOUS!!! I love that dress.

Nicole Marie said...

the first one is my favorite! you'll look gorgeous no matter what you wear!

Farah said...

Dress no.3 hands down! but Im sure you will look lovely no matter what. =)

Kerree said...

Dress 3 is hot but probably a little too sexy for a rehearsal dinner. Dress 2 looks cute and fun but still looks sexy. Let us know which one you go with.

gigi said...

i'm in wedding mode myself... ( not mine, but i'm in my bff's and helping her plan it ) , i love both #2 & #3, so if your going for "bridal, sweet girl" style, i'd go with #2. if your going for the "sophisticated, modern bride" i'd go with #3. just my thoughts on it. you can't go wrong with any of them though!

Danielle said...

Oh wow! They are all beautiful! But I like the top one best. Its cute, and fun, and I can picture a beautiful smiling bride to be in it! Although the last one would look super hot and would be fun to wear on your last day as a single woman!

RCaitlin said...

I love the ALL, but I say #2 is the best fit! The dinner looks like it will be so lovely!! I'm so excited for you!

I think it's always appropriate for the bride to wear white!

I can always send you the .jpg of your dessert for the rehearsal too if you want to share that... I'm really excited!

Just got your cupcake stand in from the UK and placed the rental order for your plates!!! YEA!

We're getting there!

Iva Messy said...

you'll look perfect in anything! but I'll vote for #1 :) oooohhh getting soooo close :)

The Master Cleanse definitely zaps you of energy because not only are you not eating...you are running to the bathroom from your laxative tea. It will shed weight, but you won't feel real great.

You don't need to lose weight anyway. You are tiny to begin with...really!

Jax said...

I vote for number two! I LOVE them all, but number two seems so romantic and cute all at the same time.. It's very SJP! :)

Ramirez Family said...

#2 or 3. I almost bought #3 for mine. But I ended up getting the Black Halo Jackie O Dress in white instead.

Lindsay said...

#2!!1 Love it!

Dress #2!!! And yes you can absolutely wear white to the rehearsal dinner - I know many who did!

In a recent platinum wedding episode, the bride to be had a Tiffany-themed bridal shower & wore white - she looked fab!

Sassy Engineer said...

First of all, I just want to say that I love your blog. I just started reading it, and I can't wait for your big day now. Onto the question at hand, I love dress #2! I think you can where whatever you want - you are the bride! I chose to wear my wedding colors (pink and green), but I did wear a white cardigan :)

Piper Jacquelyn said...

Beautiful choices!! I love the first dress for a more, party-modern-fun style. The second is so gorgeous though, in a more romantic-classic style. And yes - white is totally fine! I would go for it.

Holly said...

of course you can wear white!! i love the first one

kathleen said...

I love them all. They are GORGEOUS! Please tell me where they're from - I think I would get married in the second one! :)
